The Crossflow Learning Structure

Crossflow learning takes a different approach with occupational education. We maximize interaction by using a variety of methods to engage students. By using various techniques, the knowledge has a better chance to connect in a manner that is most comfortable for whoever is taking the course.

This course may contain Eyes on Training™ which uses virtual reality technology to immerse students in real life environments. This allows new hires to see and interact in the environments without the risk associated with inexperience.

Note: To get the most out of the material, please ensure you received your Eyes on Training™ kit before starting the course.    If your company has a subscription plan, contact your training coordinator to request a kit get sent to you.

This course produces a digital certification upon competition. This certification can be displayed, accessed, and posted to LinkedIn. We make verification simple by emailing the credential to anyone who requests it. Because we encode each certificate with meta-data to identify key aspects, it is not possible to fool or change the blockchain issued ID.

What is the best way to work though the material?

Crossflow Learning provides a study guide at the start of the course. The study guide follows the order of topics covered and gives the student a road map of the things they will need to understand. By filling in the blanks of the study guide and doing the knowledge checks during the course material, it will better prepare the student for the exam.

There is an exam?

To raise standards, Crossflow Learning has chosen to only allow students who show a competency level of 80% to get a certification. Throughout the course material, a student might encounter quizzes or knowledge checks. We do not take these into account for the final grade, but they are a great way to double check something was not missed on the way.

Which level is right for me?

Crossflow Learning breaks each subject into three main bins of understanding. The first level of our developmental process relates to a basic understanding of the material. In level one courses, you can expect to get exposed to the theory of the subject. When you move the second level, Crossflow Learning introduces real-world applications and procedures you will see while in the field. Most our Eyes on Training videos are contained in level two courses. The final level deals with special circumstances and example case studies. This is where Crossflow Learning looks to educate for the 1 in 100 situations.
